Making a Static Image Map from an SVG File
You can make a static image map from an SVG file as described here: socrtwo.info The info is slightly out of date which I will fix, but Polygonator is available from my own website while the old link is down: www.fasterposter.com You need MapEdit a $15 program too. Polygonator is free. I can do this for you as a service for $22. You will get a nice image map with tight fitting areas ready to fill with your dynamic links. My address is socrtwo@s2services.com.

IDT’s Power Saving Panel Self-Refresh Technology at IDF 2011
IDF panel self refresh www.netbooknews.com It does this by taking a frame from the panel electronics itself where as traditional systems use the system memory to provide an image to the screen. Getting into more technical detail IDT’s PSR technology “identifies a static image and stores it local to the TCON in an integrated frame buffer; then, it displays the image from the local frame buffer allowing the eDP main link and a majority of the GPU functions to be powered-down. What that means is that power savings are only seen with static images on-screen, and you’ll need a PSR-enabled graphics processor to take advantage. We caught the demo at the IDF 2011 Day 1 Keynote below
